Faculty and staff to meet Friday to discuss next steps
DENVER – David Dynak announced his decision today to resign as dean of College of Arts and Media (CAM) effective May 31, 2012.
Dynak has been dean for five years and has led the College through many important accomplishments.
In a letter to the College Dean Dynak said, “Family issues make this a particularly timely move for me.”
Provost Rod Nairn will meet with the College faculty and staff this Friday, Feb. 17, to discuss the process of selecting CAM’s next dean.
“We will announce a reception and opportunity to thank Dean Dynak for his service to the university sometime in the near future,” said Nairn. “He has increased the College’s visibility and engagement in the community and supported many projects that have brought increased recognition to the faculty and students. Just this week a recent graduate won a Grammy Award, for example.”
