‘Good Grief’, a mini-series created by College of Arts & Media Professor Craig Volk and his students aired on Rocky Mountain PBS and is available for viewing online. Over seven episodes, the series follows three sisters who run a coffee shop on a university campus. Each episode takes place during the half hour before closing time on seven consecutive nights leading up to their brother’s impending furlough from Iraq.

The series was shot in the Tivoli on the Auraria Campus, with many of the cast and crew coming from the CU Denver student body. Volk’s students were participating in his Writing for Episodic TV class.
