​DENVER – The CU Office of Government Relations invites faculty and staff to join CU Advocacy Day at the Capitol on Friday, March 16, 2012, 7:30 a.m.- noon.

The event will be in the Old Supreme Court Chambers at the Colorado State Capitol, located at 200 E. Colfax St., Denver.

By joining us at the event, explained Office of Government Relations Vice President Tanya Kelly-Bowry, it will be an opportunity to:
• Meet your legislators
• Hear from Lt. Governor Joe Garcia
• Speak with CU Campus Leadership, CU Regents and your fellow CU Advocates
• Watch your legislators in action and be part of CU’s recognition in the House and Senate Chambers
• Learn about Colorado’s budget and how it impacts higher education from Henry Sobanet, the Governor’s Director of State Planning and Budgeting

“I hope that you will be able to join us on March 16 for an exciting day at the Capitol in support of CU,” said Kelly-Bowry.

Register online before Monday, March 12, to ensure your admission. Materials will be sent to all registered attendees on Wednesday, March 14.
