Communication Department faculty Brian L. Ott, associate professor and associate chair, and Gordana Lazic, instructor clinical track, recently published the lead article “The pedagogy and politics of art in postmodernity: Cognitive mapping and The Bothersome Man,” in the Quarterly Journal of Speech.

Their article dissects responses to contemporary and post-modern art. An earlier version of the essay was presented as an invited lecture at The 13th Biennial Public Address Conference The University of Memphis last fall (citation: Ott, B. L., & Lazic, G. 2013).
