Business School Professor of Finance Jian Yang, Ph.D., CFA has been recognized for his manuscript regarding real estate investments. The American Real Estate Society (ARES) notified Yang that in a peer review process his work, “Price Jump Risk on the U.S. Housing Market,” was selected as the best in the category.
Yang will be recognized in the Fall 2013 ARES Newsletter and at an awards ceremony at ARES 2014 National Meetings in San Diego, Calif. This award includes a prize of $1,500.
Yang’s research interests in investment focus on empirical asset pricing; monetary and fiscal policy impacts on financial markets; portfolio management; risk management; futures markets; CDS markets; and market efficiency.
