Creepy Walk in the Woods, $$

In a place called Savage Woods, at the base of Devil’s Backbone open space, everything about this night spent exploring the eerie woods screams true horror fans only. Wander through the plots of cursed land and you might encounter some haunting creatures.

Glow at the Gardens, $$

Denver

With hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins that create sculptures and ornate jack-o-lanterns leading you down spooky lighted paths, this family-friendly event at the Denver Botanic Gardens is a classic Halloween celebration in Denver. Watch a magician, listen to expertly told scary stories and enjoy Halloween in the city. This event usually sells out, so don’t wait on it!

Pumpkin Nights, $$
Oct. 17 – Nov. 4
Brighton

Explore eight pumpkin-themed lands made out of 3,000+ hand-carved pumpkins. As you wander the half-mile walking path through the pumpkin sculptures, check out nightly entertainment including fire breathers, dancers and pumpkin artists. Grab a hot cocoa or apple cider and transport yourself to a fall oasis. Again, tickets go fast for this one, so get them now!

13th Floor Haunted House­, $$

Denver

Notably one of Denver’s most popular Halloween attractions, the 13th Floor is returning to a new, 10,000-square-foot venue for even more scares. Deemed the scariest haunted house in Colorado and one of the top haunted house attractions in the U.S. by USA Today, 13th Floor is a must for horror enthusiasts.
