Thirteen faculty members who have served the University of Colorado Denver for 25 years were honored at an April 10 ceremony at Oceannaire Restaurant in downtown Denver.

Chancellor Dorothy Horrell attended the event and lauded the faculty members – seven were able to attend – for their lengthy service to CU Denver. The chancellor noted that the faculty members have seen many changes at CU Denver over the years, and have remained steadfastly committed to shaping the minds of future generations of leaders in a host of arenas.

Horrell added that the faculty members’ collective accomplishments have played a major role in helping CU Denver to move up the ranks of public urban research universities.

Each faculty member received a commencement medal, emblazoned with the seal of the University of Colorado, in appreciation for their service.
